Financial Justice Ireland are running a new 6-week evening course in partnership with LASC to explore the impact of the global financial system on Latin American countries with a special focus on debt, trade, the environment and the resistance to neoliberalism. Among the current issues we will have a closer look at will be Argentina's debt crisis and vulture funds, the controversial MERCOSUR deal, the burning of the Amazon, and the challenges faced by anti-capitalists in the region.
The course is participatory, action focused and requires no previous knowledge on these issues.
The course starts on Wednesday 16th October and runs for 6 weeks.
Sessions take place from 6-8pm in the Carmelite Community Centre, Aungier Street, Dublin 2.
