Nominations are now open for the Dóchas Awards 2019. The Dóchas Awards, now in their fifth year, are an opportunity to come together and celebrate the inspiring humanitarian and development work of individuals and organisations in the Dóchas network. 

The 2019 categories include: 

After the success of the Dóchas Awards Photography Competition in 2018, we will be running it again this year. Entry criteria and instructions for the photography competition can be found here.

Entry to both the Dóchas Awards 2019 and the Dóchas Awards Photography Competition closes in early September.

Dóchas Award winners will be announced at the Dóchas Awards 2019 ceremony on 23 October in Dublin city centre.

Dóchas have also announced that the Dóchas Lifetime Achievement Award 2019 will be presented to Mary Lawlor, Founder and former Executive Director of Front Line Defenders, in recognition of her lifelong commitment and contribution to the international human rights movement.
