The 2017 Dóchas Awards are now open for nominations
Dóchas is seeking nominations for our 2017 Awards, which will be celebrating exceptional individuals and organisations in the Irish civil society sector. We will be recognising those individuals that have done outstanding work for global justice and humanitarian causes, campaigns that have used empowering messages, and organisations that have shown remarkable leadership.
We are accepting public nominations for four separate awards:
- Global Citizen
- Respect & Equality in Communications
- Humanitarian Award
- Sustainable Development Goals Champion Award
The closing date is August 25th. You can make multiple nominations, and you are also free to nominate your own organisation or campaign for an award.

Judging will take place in the Autumn, and the awards will be announced at an event in late 2017.
