This year's UCDVO Annual Forum Forum 'Beyond the Boundaries - Activism in an Interconnected World' is an invitation to explore what it means to be an activist or a global citizen in a fragmented and polarised world; to consider how we are connected to each other and to our planet.
The Forum will host an incredible group of speakers that include the philosopher, professor, psychologist and poet Dr Bayo Akomalafe who will move beyond the boundaries and traditional concepts of activism in a stimulating conversation with facilitator Clare Mulvany.
This will be followed by a storytelling panel with:
- Dr Alice Feldman Programme Director of UCD Sociology's MA Race, Migration and Decolonial Studies.
- Chiamaka Enyi-Amadia Lagos-born, Galway-raised and Dublin-based writer, editor, spoken-word performer and arts facilitator.
- Emmanuel Vaughan-Leeis an Emmy-nominated filmmaker, composer, and a Naqshbandi Sufi teacher.
- And also with performance from Chiamaka Enyi-Amadi.
