From 2012-2015, Trócaire undertook qualitative research to understand the barriers and enabling factors to women’s participation in local decision making structures in Nicaragua, Democratic Republic of Congo and India. The findings of this research have informed Trócaire’s programming and understanding of women’s empowerment. Trócaire will present the research findings on the 3rd March 2016 in the Westin Hotel from 4-6pm followed by a wine reception.
