Peter Sutherland, UN Special Representative for International Migration, will address the Institute of International European Affairs (IIEA)/Irish Aid Development Matters Lecture Series on this theme. His address comes ahead of the UN General Assembly's first of its kind High-Level Summit for Refugees and Migrants. The Summit is a historic opportunity to bring countries together to develop a more coordinated and humane international response to the ongoing migration crisis. In his address, Mr Sutherland will discuss the international response to the migration crisis and development in the context of this humanitarian emergency.
