The Dóchas HIV/AIDS and Humanitarian Working Groups are pleased to announce a small learning event to facilitate sharing across the Dóchas membership on the ebola response and lessons from the global HIV response.
The event will be held on Thursday, 23rd April (2-4pm).
Event chair is Fiona Lankan (Centre for Global Health) and speakers include:
- Dualta Roughneen (Plan Ireland), on “Humanitarian roles critical to an effective Ebola/ infectious disease response”
- Breda Gahan (Concern Worldwide), on “Intensifying Prevention and ImpactMitigation – Ebola and Lessons from HIV”
- Rosemary Davis (Concern Sierra Leone), on “Field realities and first priorities in responding to Ebola and related HIV issues”
