19th Development Dialogue - Reckoning with the past and imagining the futures of development research and practice

On 13 and 14 November 2023, the International Institute of Social Studies will host the hybrid Development Dialogue on Reckoning with the past and imagining the futures of development research and practice. The Development Dialogue (DD) is a yearly initiative by PhD candidates at the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague.

"The theme of DD19 speaks to the ongoing pertinent issues of the regime we currently live in, where ‘development’ is impacted by past mistakes as well as impacts contemporary attempts for justice."

Call for Papers

They invite researchers to submit proposals for a presentation on the conference theme by the extended submission deadline of 15 July 2023. Find out more here.
