Call for Posters

The DSAI invites submissions for poster presentations in the fields of international/critical development studies and global studies. Posters will showcase new and emerging research being carried out by DSAI members and in particular early stage researchers in Ireland. They provide a valuable opportunity to discuss early-stage work, disseminate findings, network and explore potential collaborations in an informal setting.

Applicants are invited to submit a proposal of 300 words. The proposal should describe the research project and intended content of the poster. It should also include a description of how the poster will visually represent the research (e.g. photographs, graphs etc.) and engage the viewer.

Final deadline extension: All poster proposals must be submitted by e-mail to: info@dsaireland.org by Thursday 6th of September 2018.

Abstracts will be reviewed by members of the Conference Committee and members of the DSAI Steering Committee.

Accepted posters must be prepared in portrait format and designed for printing in A1 size (594mm wide x 841 mm high). The DSAI will print accepted posters.

Posters will be displayed in various locations around the conference venue and authors will be encouraged to stand near by their posters at break times. At least one author of each accepted poster must attend the conference.
